I bought my fish their Christmas presents last night… an action treasure chest and a bubble curtain I can’t wait until I get back to my apartment so that I can put their new toys in the aquarium. Speaking of Christmas, it’s in less than a week and I have a ton of shopping left to do!!

Christmas with my family is quite amusing. Our poor tree is sitting in our garage, naked. Now you know where my laziness comes from One year, we didn’t even get a tree! My mom put all the presents under a decorative palm in our den hehe. Don’t get me wrong though, I love this time of year!

So what does everyone want from Santa? He brought me an early Christmas present — my apartment Maybe I can convince Santa to bring me the Von Dutch hat that I want… it’s pastel pink. I’m such a sucker for pink stuff. Speak of the devil… I’m wearing pink fluffy pants right now!?!

Just to add to the randomness of this post… William and I took San-X Character quizzes tonight. William is Mikan Boya and I am Nyan Nyan Nyanko (read more below)… what perfect matches!

Plug: Brigitte’s Personal Site - a super-cute site

Midnight Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, William and I went to see LOTR: Return of the King…. there are no words to describe its greatness. I decided that it was the best movie that I have ever seen! The entire audience would clap and scream during the good scenes. One girl even bawled throughout the final scenes! The movie didn’t end until 4 am, but it was worth it. We had a lot of fun. (By the way if anyone else has seen ROTK, please let me know what you thought about the movie!)

Before ROTK, Will and I watched The Last Samurai. ROTK was sold out, so we bought tickets to the other movie so that we could sneak into ROTK hehe. The Last Samurai was really good, but we left before the end so we wouldn’t be late to ROTK. I wanna go back so I can see the ending!

In other news, I quit RA. I hated it so much, especially the people that I worked with (except Patrick ;)). It was a huge ordeal, but it worked out for the best. My parents bought me an apartment! It’s a 2 bedroom 2 bath and it’s super-nice. Now I don’t have to live in the shoe-box dorm room any longer. I can’t wait to finish moving in. I will post some pictures of it IF I get my digital camera for Christmas LOL

Finally, I’m finished with school for the semester! Despite the hades I suffered through as an RA, I actually ended up with pretty good grades: A in Philosophy, A+ in Psychology, A+ in CS 202, B+ in English, and A- in Spanish. I was upset about the B+ in English, but I did my best and that’s all that counts.

Sorry for that lil lack of posting… I haven’t been in a blogging mood. I’m really ready for this year to get over! I am sooooo sick of school This week is exam week, but it is also my last week!

I bought an awesome purse and picked out the digital camera that I want for Christmas over the Thanksgiving holidays (pictures are below). Other than the camera, I haven’t asked for much. I asked William for a Louis Vuitton wallet and a Von Dutch cap. (Hopefully he will read this hehe :D) Earlier tonight while browsing Ebay, I stumbled upon the ULTIMATE Christmas present… a Louis Vuitton dog carrier!!! I’m gonna wake up early in the morning and bid on it.

As usual, life is pretty boring right now. I don’t have much to say, so I’m gonna cut this one short. Hope everyone is doing well… thanks Becster, kir, dodo, Vivian, Peter, xuan, and Danielle for your comments.

Only 2 more days of school until Thanksgiving break! I’m so ready for a vacation School is stressing me out! Also, I miss my family… I haven’t seen them in a while. And a home-cooked meal will taste so good! I’m sick of fast food

I bought the new Britney cd yesterday… I love it! Especially number 6 (Toxic). However, I have listened to it so much I’m almost tired of it hehe.

Nothing much else to say. I have a Philosophy paper due Monday that I have to write tomorrow. On top of that, I have a Philosophy test and CS assignment.

Anyways, hope everyone is doing well. All the skins are back up now and I fixed the validation problem in the comments section - thanks Peter for pointing it out I’ve also been brainstorming more content to add. Hopefully I can make some changes over the break.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I found a link to a porn site lurking in my referrals list. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why it was there! Evidently, my site isn’t the only one encountering this problem. (Read Annia’s post for more details) That’s just disgusting I wish I knew how to get it out of there… if anyone does, PLEASE let me know!

Ok, it is now 4:30 am, and I’m still working on this dumb paper!! School sucks. I just want to go to sleep! Anyways, hope everyone likes the new skin. I can’t write much because I have to finish writing a Philosophy paper Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was very relaxing… I hate that it’s over! I have so much to do this week: Philosophy test today, Spanish test tomorrow, Psychology test Wednesday, Computer Science test Thursday, and a research paper due next Thursday!! I needed the break this weekend.

I promise I have not forgotten the skins. I’m hoping to make a new browser-friendly skin so my Mac and Netscape visitors can see my page correctly. Also, I hope to post a new contest and challenge. My next big project is a new layout for my webring. Impl0de.org is closing down, so I’m moving Oh My Cuteness to my domain… I felt that warranted a new layout

Looks like I’m not going to get to post/update again until this weekend I am swamped with school work right now!! Good news, however, is that we’re learning JAVASCRIPT in my computer science class right now… it is so much fun! Check out my latest cs assignment. I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was pretty good. Friday, my first class, Philosophy, was cancelled, so I came back to my room and slept. I didn’t wake up until 3 o’clock, realizing I missed my other class That night, Will’s roommate fixed us steaks, and some friends from Auburn University came to visit. Saturday was football day, so it was pretty boring for me hehe (Im not much of a football fan). I went back to my place and chilled while everyone else was at the game. However, it was a good game! (Alabama v. Tennesee - a HUGE rivalry in college football) The game went into 5 overtimes!! Tennessee ended up with the win, but Alabama played well.

Yesterday, my parents came down to visit me. We (plus William, the other member of the family :)) drove to Birmingham to eat and shop. The restaurant, P.F. Changs (a really fancy Chinese restaurant), was delicious. Last night, Will and I went to see Kill Bill. All I can say is… WOW! It was a great movie, and I highly recommend it! Kinda strange at times, but that’s what makes it worth seeing. I’ll probably go see it again, and I also want to buy the soundtrack! hehe

These next couple of weeks are going to be crazy for me. I have an English research paper due next week, a Philosophy paper due Friday, an English exam on Thursday, a Spanish exam next Tuesday, and a whole bunch of homework on top of that. Not to mention, my dorm’s halloween party! I HAVE to learn more self-discipline so I won’t be a procrastinator anymore! LOL

In today’s random news, I have chosen the dog I want for my apartment next year. The breed is a Toy Fox Terrier and isn’t he just adorable?!?! William has a Fox terrier mix that has one of the best personalities that I have seen in a dog… she’s always clowning around and keeping us entertained. However, she’s a bigger dog. The Toy Fox Terrier only weighs at the max 7 pounds! My dog, Paislea, at home is a Maltese… she’s a funny lil princess herself hehe.

I checked out this layout on a Mac, and it looks terrible Im about to work on getting those skins back up so my Mac visitors can view my site. I ordered a new backpack today. I have wanted that pack for a while now, so I turned on my charm and talked my parents into ordering it for me hehe. Tonight after dinner, Will and I visited a roadside stand selling pumpkins, and I bought three (each a different size): a daddy, mommy, and baby pumpkin. I don’t have the patience to carve them, so I just painted faces for them instead.

I’m really sleepy :sleep:, so I’m making this post extra-short. I cleaned out a bunch of my links (many of them were dead) and added a few new ones, so be sure to check them out. I still haven’t gotten around to finishing the skins, but I promise I will sometime soon. I have 2 papers due and some exams coming up within the next few weeks, so I’m gonna be quite busy.
