I really don’t know how I survived before my cable internet. Thank goodness my parents just signed up for DSL… no more dial-up for me! I just have to wait a couple of days for the modem to arrive :cry: I finally made Paislea a page on Dogster.Com. I want to add more pics of her, but I left my USB cable for my camera in my apartment. My best friend, Rach, also made pages for her pups, Bonnie and Joey, and for her boyfriend’s pup, Maggie May.

Yesterday, I got another new hairstyle… it’s straight (again) and short! My hair hasn’t been this short in ages. I like it, it’s low-maintenance :) I will post pictures, soon.

So, who’s been keeping up with the Olympics? I only watch Women’s Gymnastics, but I missed the team competition O_o However, I remembered to watch the All-Around competition last night. I’m so glad that the American won Gold and the Chinese won Bronze! USA, Romania, and China are my favorite gymnasts — they are all so talented. *sighs* I’ve always wanted to be a gymnast. I can at least do a round-off backhandspring! :lol: Probably not now, since I’m so out of shape.

Well, I had my first brush with a hardcore copycat/hotlinker :grr: She even had the audacity to accuse ME of copying HER in my guestbook. All those images from my Bliss skin are linked DIRECTLY from my website. I will report her to her host if she doesn’t comply to my wishes — not for stealing my images, but for stealing my bandwidth!! :frown: Kitten sent me a cute gift to ease my anger.

UPDATE: I’ve contacted her host, Bravenet.Com, and requested immediate action. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon…

I am the owner of http://www.bubblessoc.net hosted by http://www.netrillium.com. The young lady mentioned above has placed several of my copyrighted images on her website without consulting me or asking permission for their use. Futhermore, the images are hotlinked directly from my website, therefore wasting my bandwidth for which I pay monthly.My original images are located at the following URL:

Please take immediate action so that I will not run into a bandwidth issue with my host. I’ve contacted the owner of the offending website numerous times, but she has not complied with my wishes. Thanks for your help. Please get back to me as soon as possible.

Anyways, here’s a few notable plugs before bed: Sanne got a new domain, Renay made a new layout, and Dodo revamped her site (and LINKED ME!! :woot:). There’s also a new layout and BBS at the Q*Bee. Kimi is so talented… I envy her pixel abilities! *sighs again*

    I like watching the Olympic diving and gymnastics, but it all gets rather tiring when everything’s played over and over again (ads too!). x_x Heh, I think Canada’s only got one or two medals so far.

    I’m holding out and waiting for the fencing matches, until they finally make poker into an olympic sport :hehe:

    There’s no way for us to get cable or DSL up here, so we’re holding out with dialup. I’ve actually used DSL before, and it isn’t a whole lot faster than our dialup, actually, except with huge pictures that should be illegal anyway.

    :grr: Stupid copycats. I don’t know how they think they can get away with it….

    this is about the person that copied you. I check out her site and her name is princesssoc and the images have your name on it. I think you shoulds report her right away. stealing bandwidth it just wrong.

    *sigh* what an obvious copier…*rolls eyes*, stuff like that just bugs me. She accused you of copying? What a dummy. Anyone who is familiar with your work knows that is so not true (I love your work, by the way!). Hopefully it will get taken care of soon.

    Before I start, completely awesome site. Bad things should happen to people who hotlink images from other people’s sites (*shakes fist at my enemies*). Did you ever consider just writing a .htaccess? And then look at her site when it then looks (even) worse than it does now?

    Aww, I know how it feels with the copycat thing. i once had a girl hotlink and copy my entire layout… then proceeded to get all her friends to flame me because she said I copied her. Ugh… I still shudder from that experience.

    I love gymnastics too! I love the floor excercises the most.

    I’ve been known to change images to some not so lovely things when people hotlink (like messages saying “I copied Bobbi of [insert url here]) You might need to change your image names for that sole purpose. >< It's a pain but well worth it.

    Also, you might want to consider an anti hotlinking script in the future to avoid this kind of problem. -_-;;

    ugh, these people are so annoying… i happen to think this layout is totally awesome… but i guess that its a real pain. I think that you should do what bobbi said, and like make a really ugly picture and instead of this layout, it will come up as that:D hehe good luck!

    I have to leave the images up until I hear back from her host… that way they will be able to tell what she did :P If they don’t do anything about the problem, then I’ll change the images to nasty images :devil:

    Yay for DSL/Cable! I can’t use computers with dial-up anymore…it’s just too slow!

    I LOVE watching gymnastics also! I missed soem of the competitions though thanks to Hurricane Charely LOL.

    So sorry you have to have trouble with copiers. Seeing my work elsewhere always sends a dart to the heart. I have one currently who I had trouble with in the past! Hope things get resolved soon!

    We did go to Disneyworld…and we got the kids (and myself!) some Mickey ears. ‘Twas fun! Take care luv :beat: .
