Flying Fish

School hasn’t even started yet, and I’m already stressed out! :dizzy: Remember when I explained how I spilled Coke on my laptop? Well, apparently there is some kind of short in the keyboard… the ‘2′ key is malfunctioning. Every few minutes hundreds of 2’s show up in whatever I’m typing — it’s so annoying. I’ll probably have to send my out-of-warranty laptop back to Dell for them to fix it. In the meantime, I’ll have to drag my desktop PC from home to school :stressed: I can’t survive a day without my beloved computer!

Last night when I returned to my apartment, I found sickly fish living in a disgusting aquarium. Acting purely on impulses, I panicked, then removed the fish and began to empty out the dirty water and gravel. I soon realized that in order to thoroughly clean the aquarium (keep in mind that I’m a perfectionist), I would have to devote an entire day to the project. On top of that, I was supposed to be meeting some friends and I was already late. I left the fish in separate bowls and headed to Will’s apartment. When I got back at 3 am, I heard a thud in the kitchen. One of the fish had jumped out of the bowl! The poor thing was barely holding on to life :( I scooped her up and returned her to the water. I feared that she wouldn’t make it through the night since she appeared to be struggling. I refilled the aquarium and replaced the fish. When I checked on them this morning, she looked as healthy as ever! I think I must have saved her just in time. Thank goodness because I love all my fishies! :fish:

My grandparents were thrilled because I made their Himalayan, Cody, a Catster Page. Isn’t he a beautiful cat? He’s a devil, though :devil: I also made Alan’s dog, Tony, a Dogster webpage — Tony is adorable as well! I felt bad for Coco, since she was getting left out of the fun, until I discovered Petster.Com. Now, she has a webpage, too! I also added more pictures to Paislea’s page.

I’m really excited about my classes tomorrow! Hopefully, this will be a good semester :) Thanks for the comments: Sanne, Renee, Cara, Jenny, Kitten, Melissa, Dionne, Bekki, Chette, Natasja, and Angela.

    YAY I’m glad your fishy survived! I recently just lost 3 fish all at once of unknown causes *cries* T_T , so I’m glad yours lasted! Interestingly enough, last night my girlfriends fish jumped out of its bowl, isn’t that odd, two i none day!. And I’m sorry about the “2″ problem you’re having, right now my computer is driving me nuts too, but its not as serious, just expensive X_x, I NEED MORE RAM! Everytime I type a sentence my computer freezes half way and then scrunches all of the words I had into like one jumbly word that makes nooo sense, and enters it. ITS MADDENING! I hope you laptop gets fixed *nod* ciao ciao! have a nice day

My puppy bit my ibook’s power adapter and i havent been able to go online at home in days! i’m still waiting for a new adapter to get to me. [snail mail... ew!] :sweatdrop:

    I had two separate fish in different tanks that both tired to commit suicide on different days. The funny part about it, though, is I have no idea how long they were out of water…one was sort of dry when it was found, yet they both lived and neither looked any worse for the wear…weird! Have fun in your classes tomorrow!

    i was reading ur other entry about the laptop. i wish i had extended warranty for my laptop … because my hard drive broke recently :(:( and i got a new one today.. had to buy it. i know how you feel. i cant live without my laptop. im scared my laptop would break down again because i dont have warranty!

    i went 20 days without my laptop, it was awful! I totally feel for you :beat: when I had an aquarium my fish would constantly try to jump out, i ended up putting cardboard on top of the thing and there were always splash marks all over it. Crazy fish :fish:

    Wow! I can’t even touch a live fish! I don’t know why I hate touching slimy, wriggling stuffs :getsad: Anyway, great job on saving the fishie!

    I seriously want a dog, though. I had a Chihuahua when I was in college but had to give her away because I couldn’t take care of her anymore. Poor Pugsy…..
