Eh, sorry again for not blogging… I still haven’t been in a ‘websitey‘ mood 
I was really sick over the weekend, so I did absolutely nothing for 4 days straight. Well, nothing besides draw. There are three things that can keep me occupied for hours: drawing, writing, and webdesign. Not too long ago, I was working on a fanfiction. Now, I’m in a drawing mood. Hopefully my webdesign mood is just around the corner… I’m getting sick of this layout.
Does anyone know anything about Add-On Domains? I registered a free .info domain name for my friend at DomainSite, but I’m not sure how to redirect it to my webspace. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

My poor laptop is struggling. The ‘2′, ‘S’, and ‘Z’ keys are missing. Half the time, my touchpad mouse doesn’t even work 
I really need to pack it up and send it back to Dell so that they can repair it. I don’t know how much longer she’s gonna survive.
So this weekend William and I were leaving the apartment complex to get some food when I noticed an Iowa license plate. I thought it might be fun to drive around the parking lot and see how many different states I could find. I was amazed to find 17 different plates — California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Texas — all in our small parking lot! I’m amused easily as you can probably tell 
Anyways, it’s after 3 am… I gotta get some sleep! Be sure to check out the results of the Caption Challenge and while you’re at it, submit a caption for the new picture, too!

It seems like you would just change the nameservers of the domain to your own, and then add it through the “Add-on Domains” section of your cpanel.

i’i got sick too from spending the night at my friend’s house. mainly lack of sleep. -_- i’ve never sen that many license plates at once. lol Pretty cool though!

Howdy!
Agreeing with a the related comment above, you should be able to just change the nameservers of the info domain to your own and then add it to your site through Cpanel…you have Cpanel, yes? But change the DNS for the domain first…the Add-On feature won’t accept the new domain until the DNS has had a chance to propogate and Cpanel recognizes it as being directed to your account. 
I know what you mean about not being in a very “websitey” mood…I’m getting sick of my own layout as well, even though it hasn’t been up for a while…interests seem to go in kind of carousel effect, hehe…round n’ round…
My laptop is suffering with missing keys as well! Small world.
It is currently doing without the ‘S’ and ‘Control’ keys…and the ‘W’ key is sticky…if I hit it too hard it punches out like 20 W’s….

i think you just tell your host you need an add-on domain and then change the domain’s name servers over.

finding different lisence plates is fun. where I used to live in westchester, NY, there was a person down the street who had a car with a hawaii lisence plate. it was pretty, it had a rainbow on it.

i belive you also need to make a directory to point that domain to, also your hosting plan needs to support it.

if you only want it to redirect there might be some options on the domainsite control panel thingy to set where it points to (in the same way that .tk works)
Otherwise, you need an add-on or parked domain, as everyone else has already told you

I got this from the FAQ’s at domainsite: iii. How do I change or transfer my name servers?
Our name servers, ns1.domainsite.com and ns2.domainsite.com, will be used by your domain by default. If you wish to change name servers, simply enter your account, click on your domain, choose the “Edit Name Servers” option, and type each new server into the “add” field. Once you have added your new name servers, you will need to delete your old servers in order to insure that the new and old servers are not in conflict. If you have multiple domains in your account, and you wish to change the name servers for many or all of them, you must edit the name server options for each domain. In other words, changing the name servers for one domain in your account will not change the servers for all your domains.
*the nameservers to change those above to are:
ns1.dns-nt.net & ns2.dns-nt.net for Netrillium, and that will re-direct them to your site

as i’m sure others have tell you, just ask your host to split your space or your friends for their .info domain. i’ve registered three and haven’t got started yet.
