The parrot in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 inspired me to buy a bird. I went to Petsmart with the intention of getting a Cockatoo or Cockatiel, but decided to purchase 2 Parakeets instead (due to lack of funds hehe). Now the animal count is up to 10 — dog, guinea pig, 2 birds, and 6 fish 
Any name suggestions for the new birds? They are both female

I saw POTC2 yesterday and I thought it was ok. I liked the beginning with the raining in the teacups..I dunno why lol. But anyways, I’m excited cuz I get to go on one of the boats they used for the POTC2 movie. =D What was your favorite part of the movie?

At one time I had 8 birds. 2 parakeets, and 6 cockatiels. Over time it went to 12 birds, to 9 to 8, to well you get the idea… I’ve had them for a coupleof long,good harsh years. I kept them outside in a large aviary. If you want to save money, make your own treats, and buy the larger bags of birdseeds [although it's not like you had as many as I did]. If you want some tips on training or anything, you can always email me! Their a great bundle of joy! One cockatiel is left.
