Edit: I just bought a turtle! Actually, I ordered him. He’ll be arriving on Thursday I named him Sparticus after my friend Andy’s gamertag. In my strange world, all of my friends have animal names. Andy’s animal was a turtle, therefore, my turtle inherited his name. Make sense? Probably not. My best friend Rach says that I’m going to be the crazy lady with lots of cats one day. I believe her. I would buy a cat now, but I’d have to pay a $300 fee for a cat in my apartment

Someone blogged about a new game starring Princess Peach for Nintendo DS. I thought it looked like a fun game, so I bought a Nintendo DS Lite tonight. I haven’t wanted one, but I’m just the most impulsive person you’ll ever meet. I mean, it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be and I just got paid, so why not? It’s totally logical I’m glad I got it, though. It’s a lot of fun! If you want to race me in Mario Kart, let me know and we’ll play online as soon as I figure it out.

My next impulsive purchase will be this:

I found this one on eBay, but the price seems a bit high. Does anyone know a store that carries it? The eBay auction says that its super rare, and I think I believe them.

If that isn’t the definition of an oxymoron, I don’t know what is! Is it just me or is anyone else tired of politics? You can’t go see a movie anymore without someone’s political views getting dumped in your lap. I’m all for healthy political debates, but there is a time and place for it.

I have a bad habit of singing songs about my dog. And I just started singing aloud at work. Thank goodness everyone has left for the day.

The parrot in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 inspired me to buy a bird. I went to Petsmart with the intention of getting a Cockatoo or Cockatiel, but decided to purchase 2 Parakeets instead (due to lack of funds hehe). Now the animal count is up to 10 — dog, guinea pig, 2 birds, and 6 fish

Any name suggestions for the new birds? They are both female

Thought it was cute + funny

Just when I thought I’d learned all I need to know about webdesign (not literally), I come across mod_rewrite - which is quite useful! I still have the hardest time comprehending regular expressions, so I’m just using it in its simplest form. Rather than typing profile.php?id=1 every time I want to access a member profile I can use profile/1 instead! Neil Crosby can explain it better than I, so I’ll leave the job to him. Btw - if you are using an .htaccess file to protect against direct linkers, you are using mod_rewrite!
