I had never really heard of Vera Bradley until I came to the university. Sophomore year my mom bought me the Miller Bag in Sherbet. Time passed and I didn’t purchase any other pieces. In July 2006, Sherbet was retired, so I was out of luck.
For Valentine’s Day, Will’s mom bought me a travel pouch in Pink Elephants. I hadn’t seen this pattern before, so I immediately fell in love. Alabama’s mascot is an elephant AND proceeds benefit breast cancer research.
For my birthday, my parents bought me the curling iron cover, hanging organizer, Miller bag and garment bag. I’m so excited because I’ve traveled back and forth from the university for 5 years now and I’ve never had matching luggage.
Anyways, I’m interested to see if you have any Vera Bradley products. If so, which collections and/or pieces do you own?

The pink elephants one is so cute!
I have a Vera Bradley bag. I got it a couple of years ago when I visited Boston. It cost $50 and I haven’t bought one since then because I don’t normally spend that much on purses. Anyway, the one I own is a handbag (I couldn’t find the exact style but it’s a medium sized bag with little pockets on both sides, it’s like the Miller Bag) in Pink Pansy. It’s on the Retired Colors page under January 2004. I loved it so much that when I saw it I had to buy it. I still use it, it’s almost like brand new.
Sigh. I want another bag!

I have a lime green microfiber handbag. I couldn’t find it on her site so no picture. My step mom likes Vera Bradley and gave me the purse. I’d never heard of her, but I do love the bag. It’s super roomy and has great pockets. I just wish it was black or brown; something that went with more of my clothes. I have nothing that’s lime green and it looks a little awkward sometimes.
I like that pink elephant pattern a lot though. I’m thinking of getting a purse in that pattern.

That is a lovely pattern.
I haven’t been into that brand or collected many bags at all…I may start though this year, collecting more things like that. Now that I’m moving, I have a reason to have prettier things.

I don’t have any vera products but I’d be willing to buy some. I’m a sucker for cute things which is why 99.9% of the time I have to keep myself away from ebay. The sellers there sell all the good stuff and I can never resist lol

Hi Nina, I agree, the funtote.com’s elephant bag is much cuter, and younger look than the vera bradley.

I love Vera Bradley products!
Once you get just one, it’s addictive and you have to have more! I just recently bought the Hipster - love it - with a matching wallet, of course!
