When it comes to movies, I have a boy’s taste. Give me an action/adventure over a romantic comedy any day. Since I was a little girl, 3 film franchises have stood out in my mind as my favorites — James Bond, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars.
For Christmas my parents gave me the James Bond Ultimate Edition (all four volumes!) Although I’ve seen all 21 Bond movies over a billion times, I’ll still pop one in when I’m bored.
The other day while I was watching For Your Eyes Only I realized something I’d never noticed before… an actor who played in all three of my favorite movies!
Julian Glover played Walter Donovan in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Maximilian Veers in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Aristotle Kristatos in For Your Eyes Only.
I figured I’d share my discovery with fellow movie nerds

Lol! I’ve always been inclined to more “guyish” movies too (not that I don’t also enjoy a girly movie once in awhile). Star Wars is definitely a must-see classic on that list.

I’m also one of those ‘guy’ movie freaks - I absolutely can’t stand romantic comedies and the likes. I love lots of action and brutality. Though I’m not so much of a James Bond fan. But I love both Star Wars and Indiana Jones, and I actually never realized that Julian Glover is also in Star Wars!

I’ll have to concur with you on enjoying the typical testosterone filled movies. I LOVE the Star Wars series, as well as the Indiana Jones trilogy, thought especially Indiana Jones.
I grew up on those movies. the Goonies is another one that I watch all the time, years after first seeing it.
