Do you use air freshener in your home? If so, what kind do you use?
I personally like the Wallflowers from Bath & Body Works. I have 4 outlets, so buying refills is quite expensive! I caught a great deal a couple of weeks ago, though. The outlets and refills were $5 a piece ($12.50 regularly!)
I bought refills in Passion Fruit & Guava, Vanilla Coconut, Sweet Pea, Brown Sugar & Fig, and Black Raspberry Vanilla. My apartment smells wonderful! The Vanilla Coconut is probably my favorite
In my bedroom, I use a Glade Light Show in Vanilla & Cream, which is also a wonderful scent.
I had my first Cal 3 class today… and I’m already procrastinating
I’m taking a break from the homework. My professor is great… he has the coolest accent (Scottish, I think) I really hope that I can make myself study hard enough to get an A… I really need it!
Rin and Arien sent me some surprises in the mail!
Too bad my iPhone doesn’t have a hook for my Domo-Kun charm

I also use the Wallflowers and got some when they had that great sale a few weeks back.
My favorite scent is the Coconut Lime Verbena. I love how fresh it smells and how it makes me feel like I’m on vacation.
I’m glad your class seems to have gone well. I’m so jealous you are enrolled in a class! I so need to sign up for that art class this fall I’m considering taking (since my tuition would be free since my husband works at the college library
).
Expect a surprise in the mail from me soon. Since Colin started work, I haven’t been able to go to the post office.

I personally haven’t found an air freshener that lasts as long as it should. Thanks for the info, though! I might try them out.
If you can’t get Domo Kun to hang around, why don’t you have him as one of your wallpapers?
I don’t know if you’ve seen this but go to 320by480 . com and you’ll find Domo Kun for your iphone.
I don’t know you very well but seeing as how you’ve got a Domo Kun gravatar and you bought a Domo Kun phone charm…well, I thought you’d like it. Enjoy!

I am currently trying Febreze NOTICEables, but I am still not that impressed with them. I use it near the kitty litter box.
Your right about some of the fresheners are so expensive. I tried Method Pill but again so expensive and not that wonderful. The batteries wore down so fast. Ugh. I may have to try to the Wallflowers someday.
Do you know my favorite scent trick? Use dryer sheets everywhere in the home. I put them in all my drawers, closets, etc. Downy makes the best, they smell so good and last a long time.
Have fun at school sweetie. *hugs*

Hmm… I usually use Glade aerosols (sorry Earth). As long as it’s citrus, though, I’m happy

Never used air fresheners, I like the “natural” smell
I did have one in my bathroom though once but it fell down and I was lazy. Your IPhone? what are you rich girl?!?!?
ah, I just saw it on your flickr - Really CUTE!!! I’m not much into cell-phones or other things like that, I never have to pay for my cellphones
I like to spend money for good pcs though
Anyways, this was a lot of talking of me in which you’re probably not interested in
Congrats on the phone, you’re the mac type of girl

I love love love wallflowers, especially since now you can get them with a built-in night light! Very handy for the bathroom. I used to work for BBW so naturally I stocked up on the refills all the time. A good time to stock up is during their Semi-Annual sale where they have them as low as $5 a refill!

I just bought a Febreze Noticeables plugin in the rain and morning dew scent. I love them. Since we have a new puppy, we needed an air freshener, LOL so I just grabbed one at Wal-Mart and I am so glad I got this one. It’s lovely. I can tell the different scents when they alternate every half hour. Wonderful.

I can’t stand air-fresheners, especially those used inside the car. They induce my allergic rhinitis. Plus, my biochemistry professor explained that air fresheners may ruin our body’s protein. Basically, all our cells need protein, and if they are changed, they can’t be used. Therefore, we either end up sick or.. sick. Mutated genes, cancer, etc. Not that I’m trying to scare you. lol

unfortunately, i can’t provide any expert advice regarding air fresheners being that i don’t use them.
my friend did get me one for my birthday one year (interesting choice of gifts, i think he was hinting something?), and it was from bath and body works, too! in fact, i think it might be something similar to what you had. it was yellow. it’s gone now. that’s the end of my story.
i love scottish accents! i’m super jealous now. enjoy your class!

Good luck in your calc class! I don’t use one of those air fresheners that like plugs in or anything. I prefer the air spray stuff. It smells really good and I believe it lasts longer. =]

I find that air fresheners mix with the nasty smells and generally make the room smell a lot nastier. They’re a waste of money in my experience.

After reading your messages, I’m obviously MUCH older than you girls but I happened upon this site when I was searching to see if Wallflowers actually do burn plastic bubbles to create the scent - like I heard on talk radio tonight. No luck there yet….but I did want to confirm that the BBW Wallflowers are without doubt the longest lasting scent I have tried…and I have put some $$$$ into my attempts! They are NOT overwhelming by any means, especially ones like “Fresh Linen” and “Bartlett Pear” - they just make my house smell clean. I now have about 80-90 refills in my closet and a wallflower in every third room in my house…they are fabulous. I’ll be SO disappointed if they are allergens…..you’ll see my refills on eBay, I suppose. Good luck with your classes!!!

Our primary care doctor just told me today that any kind of air freshner is an allergen for some. I got my first Wallflower for Christmas, and my husband, who has COPD, has been sick ever since. So, today, they came out of the walls. I had 6 of them in my house, and I have 8 refills on hand. Oh well.. I’d recommend you check with your own doctors.
