The Deathly Hallows

I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I must say, one of the best books I’ve ever read. Extremely fast paced, there wasn’t a moment without action concerning the main characters. As far as I know (as I haven’t read all the books yet), JKR did a wonderful job of tying up all the loose ends. Two chapters brought tears to my eyes!

I will hopefully discuss the book in further detail in a future post. Right now, I have to concentrate on passing my Cal 3 exam on Thursday :study: Below, I compiled a list of upcoming movies I’d like to see. I love watching movie trailers, maybe you will enjoy a few!

I love the 3:10 to Yuma trailer - I’ll definitely watch that movie, even if it’s just for Russel Crowe and Christian Bale :D I saw the Trailer for Golden Compass yesterday, sounds interesting too, just like Last Legion - I’ll have to watch that trailer.
Glad you liked Deathly Hallows! A lot of people seemed to hate especially the epilogue, but I’m fine with the book… Though I excepted some explanation of what happened in the Department of Mysteries…

A nice selection of movies there. I hadn’t heard of any of them before.

I especially like the looks of 10,000 BC. I’m a sucker for the big epics.

I’m also very curious about 1-18-08, it’s amazing how much power a trailer holds over a movie’s success or failure!

I thought the book was really good too. I didn’t care too much for the epilogue at the end (just my own opinions of certain character relationships). Other than that, I was glad that I was right about several things I had thought. :) J.K. Rowling is going to be writing an encyclopedia of sorts that’s going to include some backstory for several characters that never made it into the book. It’s also supposed to have more of what happened to characters after the end of book 7.

I have only heard of one of those movies. Hmm…have to check them out!

I know what you mean about the book bringing you to tears. It was a good book. One of her best.

For the movies I can’t wait for 10,000 B.C.. It sounds like a spin off of The Clan Of The Cave Bear, but it sounds good.
