The Roaming Octopus Adventure has begun! Enid the Octopus arrived in Kentucky 5 days ago. Ashley has been chronicling the mollusk’s journeys through her blog and Flickr. After 1-2 weeks of fun with Ash, Enid will be heading to England to visit Rachael 
Other scheduled adventure stops include California (Rin), Virginia (Michelle & Melissa), and finally the Philippines (Skye & Honey)!
Edit: Heidi and Mendifae just dropped their names in the hat, so Enid will be visiting Denmark and North Carolina, too!
Edit 2: Even more participants! Miranda (North Carolina), Sarah (Pennsylvania), and Tracy (Germany)
If you’re interested in taking Enid on an adventure, it’s not too late to join the fun! Just email me your mailing address (will be kept confidential). You’ll hopefully receive the octopus sometime this year I think we have enough participants this go around… thanks for your interest, everyone! 
In other unrelated news, I’m already procrastinating again this semester! I should be working on CS 470 (Algorithms) homework, but just can’t bring myself to start

Aww, that’s an adorable idea!
We used to do things like that way back in school. Except it was a kangaroo or something. All that I can remember is that it had to do with our penpals and such and we each got to write in its journal when we took it home with us to say what happened in the day we had it with us. Then we shipped it back and got ours back in return. I can’t remember what that animal was though.
Anyways, if it weren’t for my overprotective parents, I’d definitely participate. Have fun!

Wow!! I mean wow! That sounds like so much fun! I read about this on Ashley’s blog but I did not know you started it though I had a feeling…as it involved an octopus hehe
What exactly is the criteria for joining the fun? I would love to be a part of it but my life is far from being adventurous… I am loving this idea though. I live in India by the way…I don’t think it can come that far. This is one Lucky octi traveling around the world though

You know Bubs, I would do this in a minute for you. But it would be a very boring adventure. I don’t go anywhere. I stay home all the time. I know I probably shouldn’t tell you this, but I just wanted you to know that you would have had one more to the list, but it would be boring and no good to send Enid to me.

I can’t wait to start uni this year so I can start procrastinating, the best things in life are free.
This roaming gae is so cute, I wanna join in the next round or something and take a little cutie to visit the Queen.
I’ve not gone yet, I’ve got no money to get a new domain (yet) but next month I shall be back with my own name etcetc, my sisters one ran out so thats why It’s down
