School’s back in full force… that’s why I haven’t been around much lately. I have 2 projects due and an exam this week 
Will and I have $100 riding on our GPAs this semester. If I make better in my classes, he pays me (vice-versa) It’s a bit unfair since he is in grad school and doesn’t have as heavy of a load as I do 
In case you’re interested, here’s what I’m taking:
- Microcomputer Applications - should be an easy course (we’re learning how to use MS Excel), but I have the hardest time waking up at 9am
- Intro to Computer Algorithms - I HATE this aspect of Computer Science. Big O notation? Running times? Who the heck cares?
This will be my toughest course, by far. - Calculus 3 - I tried to take it this summer, but had to drop because I couldn’t handle the fast-pace. I made a 95 on my first exam this semester, though!
- Programming Languages - My teacher is rough, but we’re learning some interesting stuff. Near the end of the semester, we’ll be studying Ruby, which I’m very excited about.
- Undergraduate Research - Dr. Kim and I have worked together for 2-3 years now. He’s a wonderful mentor.
Any Avatar: The Last Airbender fans? The final season premiere was excellent! Aang looks so cute with hair 
And Zuko is still hot, even with a top-knot! Spoiler (highlight to read): He didn’t seem to interested when Mai kissed him… wonder if the relationship will work out? Don’t forget to catch Season 3: Episode 2 this Friday!
And the Naruto manga! *catches breath* What exciting news! More Spoilers: Yondaime (aka Namikaze Minato), my cartoon crush, was revealed to be Naruto’s daddy! I’ve been rooting for this revelation since Chapter 1. Does anyone else get the feeling that Pein has a connection to Naruto as well? I’m wondering if he is related to Naruto’s mom…
It’s 10:30, and class starts at 11, so I best be running!

Tough schedule? The only class I’d probably be interestd in taking is the Programming Languages class.
OOh, I love Avatar. I missed the premiere because I don’t have cable so I’ll have to catch it online…I know, it’s not legal!
I’m way behind on the Naruto manga. I might take the time these week to catch up. I’m not surprised about Naruto’s father. Seriously, the resemblance is uncanny!

Nice schedule. I got mine a few days ago and this is the first semester where I only have 12 hours!! (We used to have up to 30 hours).

Your schedule does sound quite busy, but I am still jealous that you are still in school and get to take classes. Sometimes I would much rather be in a class as a student rather than being the teacher.
Anyway, good luck on winning the $100.

Wow what a rough schedule! And $100 riding on it too? Yikes! Good luck with all of that, especially the programming classes! Also good job with your calculus exam! I’m still struggling with Algebra!

Looks tough. That’s one of the reasons I dropped out of Software Engineering and became an English major. Life became much simpler then.
