What are your New Year’s resolutions?
Thanks for stopping by! You have stumbled upon the personal website of Sidney Collins (aka Bubs). I'm a 24-year old student at the University of Alabama studying Computer Science and Mathematics. When I'm not busy programming you'll probably find me writing, drawing, reading, shopping, eating, or playing Monopoly.

One of my resolutions is to also lose 20 pounds. Exercising once a week is definitely doable for me too. I will try to do that more than once a week, though. I’d also like to get more freelance work this year.
I wish you the best of luck this year!

Take better care of my belongings — I buy nice things but only treat them well for a short amount of time afterwards (while they still seem new. I need to stop that.
Otherwise, read more books and sketch more pictures — pretty standard fare.
Good luck with your resolutions! And have a good year!

I don’t really make resolutions. I only forget about them/break them. Just to incite some jealousy, though, if I did make a resolution it’d probably be to eat more because I’m underweight and the smallest size they generally sell in stores is 8 (American size 4 I think) and it’s too big for me >_< I’m looking forward to next year, though. It’s my 20th year and 20 is my lucky number
Happy New Year, good luck with your resolutions

1. Write up a housekeeping reminder list and stick to it. I often forget to sweep or water the houseplants, and I know if I make a list, I’ll remember.
2. Exercise at least 1x per week. I got a coupon for a free week at a gym nearby, so I want to try that out and see if the gym is the right place for me.
3. PLAN MY WEDDING.
4. Visit the dentist. I don’t have dental insurance, but my workplace has a sort of “allowance” per year that they will pay, so I need to take them up on it and go get my teeth cleaned.
5. Organize my closets. I just got a new IKEA bookshelf that has helped out a lot for one of them, but my other closets are in disarray.
Thanks for this, Bubs! Hope your recovery is going well, and that you are having a good holiday season!

I never make any resolutions or goals for the New Years. To me there is just to much pressure on those. So I just tell myself to do my best every year and I am happy with that.

I don’t usually make resolutions because they’re too final-sounding, but I do have goals for the next 2-3 years…
My biggest resolution is to lose 15 pounds and then keep it off for a few months. It’s not a weight issue so much as to show myself that I CAN do it, I CAN control my eating and exercising and what not. More willpower than anything.
Trying a new thing every month is the next resolution. This month I’m dieting on just fruit, yogurt, and water. I’m hoping to get rid of my random bored cravings for sugary things. Over the next few months I’m planning on going to a lot of different events, reading new genres, painting & writing things in a way I wouldn’t have before. I plan on making 2008 a very active year because 2007 was really lazy

I don’t resolve to lose any weight because I’ve learned to accept and love my body as it is.
I didn’t formally make any resolutions this year, but I want to become more involved in Wicca, be more assertive, and finish projects that I’ve started and left open in 2007.
