I appreciate the support!
I recently started working with a personal trainer and I’ve already lost 2 pounds!
My target weight is 120 and I’m currently at 129. While shopping yesterday…
… I tried on a dress in medium, and it was too big. It feels so good to be able to say that again. I don’t remember the last time I purchased something in a small.
I started the second-to-last semester of my college career 3 weeks ago. Here’s what it looks like:
- Intro Computer Algorithms
- Programming Languages
- Computer Architecture
- Statistics
- Matrix Theory
- Undergraduate Research
I began taking Algorithms and Programming Languages a year ago, but had to take a Medical Withdrawal from that semester for my surgery. Our Programming Languages professor is new, and he’s teaching much more interesting languages: Perl, F# and Java. I’ve already learned so much about Regular Expressions in the short time we’ve studied them. Here’s our first assignment, if anyone’s up for a challenge
Initially, I was really nervous about Computer Architecture since I still don’t understand Assembly Language, but our professor (who is also new) is great. I got a 110 on my first homework — 10 bonus points for a “very good attitude”
Our first exam is coming up this Tuesday.
Are you taking any interesting classes this semester?

Five! I’ve loved how your layout flows so well together. Those nav links are something I’ve been wanting to try and do.
I didn’t vote everyone else a one. >>

Not really any interesting classes, persé.. Though I’m glad to say that I’m finally rid of French and German… They got under my skin >.<

I gave you a seven. I’ve been in love with this design ever since you first put it up. The organization is just superb.. add that with the colors and super cute graphics and it’s just a win win design.
As for trying your assignment on for size.. I’ll pass. I had java when I was in college and the farthest I ever got was creating a calculator from scratch.. and that was parrot fashion from my course book hehe
I hope you win the contest *nods and crosses her fingers for you*

I also gave you a seven. Even though you have had this layout up for a long time, I still love it. I don’t know if I would know the site without this design. I know it is Bubs by this design. It just flows so nicely together that it is just amazing.

I voted for you Bubs! I love this layout and think it’s one of the most organized that I’ve ever seen! Good luck with your classes, sounds like it’s going to be a rough semester for you.
((hugs))!

Congrats on the weight loss. I too am trying lose weight but it’s slow. Then again, I’m not trying too hard — wish I could afford a trainer!
Good luck this semester!

Wow I’d love to be able to work with a personal trainer. Unfortunately where I live it is insanely expensive so I try to get the most out of my weight training class at school. My goal is also 120, but I’m about 30 pounds away from that. Ugh, haha.
Good luck with those classes!
And as a sidenote, I’m glad I’m not alone in my political beliefs.

*voted* Yours is way better than the rest… ok so I liked the crab too, but that’s nothing on ‘unique’ CSS
Oh dear! Computer Architecture! I was always so scared of it. I loved the professor though - he always had such interesting classes. It’s just that assembly language and me were… never very close, so to say.
10 bonus points for attitude! Wow, cool teacher! There’s no such bonus around here.

First off, congratulations on loosing weight! It feels so good, huh? I need to start hitting the gym some more so I can have that feeling of going down a size. So, I’m basically jealous. Anyways, I’m going to rate your site, I hope you win!

You remind me of when i was your age. Really nice site, wonderfully done. Looks like your winning that contest too.
Took a look at your perl assignment. never did care much for Perl but I must say even if you learn absolutely nothing about perl just make sure you learn RegEx, cause as a web developer RegEx is one thing that you will use over and over and over again.
Wish you all the best.
