I recently held a contest at my webring, Oh My Cuteness, for the members to create new image codes. I’m so excited because I received a ton of beautiful submissions! Today, I chose the Grand Prize and Runner-Up:

My V-Day was great! Yesterday morning around 7am, Will surprised me with a teddy bear that is as big as me!

Later in the day, he brought me some tulips…

…and an itty bitty bear…

I was so excited because I’ve always wanted tulips (my favorite flowers) but never received any. Last night, Will and me ate at Cypress Inn (a local fancy restaurant) with Al and Liz The grilled jumbo shrimp was amazing! I even had leftovers for lunch today.

I wanted to integrate my 404 page into my skins, but I needed it to be a .php file instead of .shtml (which is the default filetype I believe). So here’s how I did it.Open your existing .htaccess file. If you do not have one already, create a new file and save it as .htaccess. Add the following code to the file:

ErrorDocument 404 http://www.bubblessoc.net/404.php

You can change 404.php to anything you want. It can be error.php or mysiterox.php. And of course, you use your URL instead of mine

I’ve also integrated custom 404 pages for my subdomains as well using the same method. This is useful if you have hostees who want their own error pages. Just make an .htaccess file for each of your subdomains. Otherwise, the root .htaccess will take precedence.

If you want to display the name of the page that issued a 404 use:

<?php echo $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] ?>

Pretty nifty I think.

In other news, I decided to decorate my office at work because it was just so blah. I’ll post some pics when I’m finished. Over the weekend, I painted a bulletin board to hang above my desk…

I didn’t like the way the polka dots came out though Too big I think. I also bedazzled a clock…

I think it looks pretty cute. It matches a pencil holder I made last week.

Don’t let a pedicure disfigure you

How scary!! I love getting pedicures, especially spa pedicures! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the girls’ legs on TV. I will definitely be more careful from now on.

William said he forgot what kind of engagement ring I wanted, so I thought I’d refresh his memory…

Birthday girl, Jem, released her newest version of BellaBook. It’s a great guestbook script, I really recommend it. I’ve even written two plugins for it

Wow, it’s snowing outside right now! I literally haven’t seen snow in 4 years. Too bad it’s not sticking

Had to buy a new set of headphones tonight… I have the worst luck with headphones. One side always shorts out… does that ever happen to you? I’m guessing it’s because I sleep with them on at night. I recently had two sets of these. Pixie ate the first set, and the right earpiece shorted out of the second. I really enjoyed them, but I hated paying $40 for headphones

School starts back this Wednesday. Maybe I’ll make some decent grades for a change I’m taking:

ECE 383 – Machine Language
Math 126 – Calculus II
Art 100 – Drawing
Drawing 100 – Sketching for Engineers

Fun, huh?
