Think roaming gnome, but with one of my octopus toys! All you have to do is take my toy on an adventure. Photograph and blog about the adventure along the way. After the adventure is complete, pass my octopus on to the next person in the chain 
If you’re really interested in playing, send me your mailing address (if you haven’t already). I’ll choose a small toy so that the shipping cost won’t be outrageous. I’m going to limit this first round to 8 people, so drop your name in the hat ASAP! Don’t worry if you’re not chosen… there will be another round

I vote for the first or third. The third one is totally cute. Can anyone all over the world do this? I would love to! Is there a specific ‘adventure’ you need to take, or just what happens along the way? I think this is an excellent idea.

I like the 3rd one best.
My dorm/residential college’s mascot is the gnome – we had students take gnomes around the world with them on their vacations, photographing them. Traveling gnomes/octopus toys are great.
