In celebration of my 26th birthday, I got my first tattoo! 
She’s really small, only about 1.5 inches (3.81 cm) tall.
I drew the octopus and the adorable Jenny of Timeless Tattoo in Atlanta inked her for me 
Not only is Jenny super sweet but also an amazing artist (be sure to take a peek at her work!) While researching tattoo studios in Atlanta I came across her website and knew immediately that she was perfect ♥ She corresponded with me via email prior to my visit and answered all my questions. We are definitely kindred spirits. Her office is full of cute toys, including a Domo-kun, which my husband pointed out to ease my nerves as the procedure began. Even her tattoo machines are Hello Kitty 
Surprisingly enough, it wasn’t painful. Uncomfortable, yes, but not painful. I was really scared that I wouldn’t be able to take the pain. A few years ago I had laser hair removal… the pain still haunts me. For laser hair removal to be successful, you must endure 5 sessions. Needless to say, I barely made it though the first; therefore, I still have the pleasure of shaving daily 
William maintains that my procedure was botched. I did have a scar on my belly for some time where my “happy trail” hair was singed. Perhaps he’s correct…

P.S. — I suppose I’ll honor William’s request and refrain from referring to my tattoo as “my little octopussy,” a line about an octopus tattoo from the James Bond film Octopussy

I have the word “dream” with a star on the inside of my left wrist. My name means “dream” in Gaelic, and… yup. I got it during a very important time in my life, so it has good memories. And yeah, it’s small. But, it didn’t hurt me either, so I’d like to get more. I think my next one is going to be a rainbow maple leaf on my ankle (my mom has a maple leaf on her ankle, so I’d like one similar, but rainbow coloured).
Your tattoo is SO adorable! I seriously love it. I think it’s one of my favourite tattoos I’ve ever seen.

OMG! Bubs this is sooo cute ♥ I love it, congrats! I just once had a tattoo designed by myself but it was a henna one (only last for 15 days lol) Which will be your next one?

I want one, but I don’t know what to get or where to put it. I want it some where that isn’t seen unless I want it to be, but at the same time I am also afraid that I will turn into the tattoo queen, lol.

I absolutely love your tattoo!! It’s so cute and small….perfect for you! I have two tattoos – a butterfly with tribal on my right ankle and I have a frog fae on my back with cherry blossoms and my daughter’s name at the top (which is at the base of my neck). The one on my leg is small and didn’t hurt but the one on my back is quite large and it hurt quite a bit! I think it’s because it was directly on my spine…I have photos but I’ll get new ones and share them with you!

Incredibly cute! I went on the tattoo artist’s website, she’s so talented! I don’t have any tattoos and I think I’d be too scared of the pain to even try it. I have extremely low pain tolerance, I had laser surgery once on my face and it was torture!

That’s such a cute tattoo! I’ve played with the idea to get a tattoo of a small dragon (more like a firefly) on my right knee. It would be the protector of my knee, because that part of my body is my weak spot. So far, I haven’t gotten it done.

I don't have any tattoos myself yet, but I'm dying to get one! My dream tattoo would be to get a pattern of snow flakes on my right upper arm/shoulder – but I'm not sure how well snow flakes would turn out as ink :/
