Someone blogged about a new game starring Princess Peach for Nintendo DS. I thought it looked like a fun game, so I bought a Nintendo DS Lite tonight. I haven’t wanted one, but I’m just the most impulsive person you’ll ever meet. I mean, it wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be and I just got paid, so why not? It’s totally logical 
I’m glad I got it, though. It’s a lot of fun! If you want to race me in Mario Kart, let me know and we’ll play online as soon as I figure it out.
My next impulsive purchase will be this:
I found this one on eBay, but the price seems a bit high. Does anyone know a store that carries it? The eBay auction says that its super rare, and I think I believe them.

You can get that HK Ipod thingy at Target, I saw it there recently. I am always spotting HK stuff! Gotta watch what those e-bay folks say sometimes.
I love my NDS! I don’t have Princess Peach yet but I am sure I will get it soon. Have fun with yours.

and your nintendo ds buy sounds like me and mike’s impulse gamecube buy around christmas time last year… i’m so glad we got it, there are lots of fun games to play with other people

Animal Crossing is a super cute came
. You come into a city where you build a house and talk to friendly/grumpy neighbour animals. You can earn Bells by fishing 
, catching bugs, collecting oranges etc. to pay for your house, clothes and furniture. Also new citizens will come to live in your village and so on. The surroundings change according to the time and seasons. You can also visit other villages with wi fi (but I still have to get myself a wi-fi stick).

Looks like that and Yoshi’s Island 2 will be next game purchases :lick: Did you play Yoshi’s Island for SNES by any chance? It was the CUTEST game ever… I can’t wait for the sequel!!
If you get Wi-Fi, can your animals visit my animals or do we have to be near each other?

If you’re going to get Mario Kart DS on ebay I would definitely NOT recommend you to get it from a HK seller. There are tons of bootlegs from HK sellers and I was a victim. =(
I bought a real Mario Kart DS – if you’d like to play against each other, please let me know! It’s hard to find anyone esp. on dmb who has this game.

I’m not too keen on the Ninento DS… but I don’t think I am the only one. Nintendo must of realised this and are probably bringing out new games with the biggest names in it, just so people are impulsed to buy it. Like Mario Brothers, Princess Peach… correct me if I am wrong.
And don’t feel bad about impulse buying! It roXors! I do it all the time!

You need the internet (pretty obvious). Follow these steps:
- Select Mario Kart DS (I know the DSL has a different intro than the DSO but that’s what Nintendo always does *lmao*)
- Select “Nintendo WFC”
- Go to “Nintendo WFC Settings”
- Click “OK” / “A” button
- Check the connection to see if your DSL can access your internet (you may need to put in the username/pw/ssid that’s what I had to do)
- If it doesn’t work, you may need to buy Nintendo’s Wifi usb connector but chances are your router / modem can handle it.
- When you are sure your DSL can get the internet go back to “Nintendo WFC”
- Select “Friend code”
- Choose “Register Friend code”
- My friend code is “000069 508308″
To find your own friend code:
- Choose “Confirm friend code” and it will be listed there! ^_^

Congrats! You should get Animal Crossing, we can play together! Basically it’s a little town populated by you and cute anthropomorphized animals that talk to you. In the game you collect items, make friends, and can elaborately decorate a house. It’s the best game … EVER!

aww I wanted a DS but on some crazy impulse I got a tablet instead
I think I would have enjoyed a DS more now that I think about it. I will just have to wait till x-mas.:grumpy:
