I ordered a new backpack today. I have wanted that pack for a while now, so I turned on my charm and talked my parents into ordering it for me hehe. Tonight after dinner, Will and I visited a roadside stand selling pumpkins, and I bought three (each a different size): a daddy, mommy, and baby pumpkin. I don’t have the patience to carve them, so I just painted faces for them instead.

I’m really sleepy :sleep:, so I’m making this post extra-short. I cleaned out a bunch of my links (many of them were dead) and added a few new ones, so be sure to check them out. I still haven’t gotten around to finishing the skins, but I promise I will sometime soon. I have 2 papers due and some exams coming up within the next few weeks, so I’m gonna be quite busy. First of all, thanks everyone for the positive feedback on my layout… I really appreciate it! In other news, I went on a shopping spree today! I was so excited because I go shopping all the time, but I never find anything. I’m really picky about my clothes. I only like to buy things that other people don’t have. However, it’s hard to do that when you go to a big university I got bought some ripped jeans and a tshirt from Abercrombie. The tshirt is funny because it says ‘bobcats’ across the front of it… my boyfriend and I are obsessed with bobcats (long story!) hehe. I got a simple red shirt and some boxers for Will from Banana Republic. I also found a pair of adorable brown dress shoes from Parisians. Last, but not least, I got a *precious* outfit from a new shop called Camille la Vie. I just love shopping!!

I’m glad that I am finding some free time to update my site again, I have missed it! My semester is so busy right now, but since I am settled in, its calmed down a bit. My best friend, Rachael, has decided that she is going to come to Bama next semester! I am really happy because I miss her. Next year we are getting an apartment together, that should be interesting hehe.

Im going to go hunt for some snacks now. It’s getting close to ‘that time of the month’, so I’m eating everything in sight! :sweat: hehe I hope to do some random site updates later tonight… maybe I will fix the skins.

Aww, my total comments have dropped dramatically I guess the only reason many people were commenting was because of Provance… oh well, I will survive. I still have my beloved faithful commenters: anjana, Angelique, Karrie, Peter, Jenny, and Kristen.

Well, my bad habit of procrastination has already started again. I have so much homework that is due today, which I have yet to complete! I did finish one thing, however. For Creative Writing, I was supposed to write a poem that included a list of some sort. Now, I love to write, but I enjoy writing fiction/non-fiction. To be honest, I never liked poetry until recently. The reason I like it now is because I have studied it more in depth and I have come to respect some of it (I still think a lot of it is pointless and stupid :P) Anyways, I just finished writing my poem. It is so stupid and terrible that I decided to post it so that everyone can make fun of it hehe. I know that poetry doesn’t necessarily have to rhyme, but I wanted to give it a shot.

I tell myself I will work on something early,
And I try to make that true.
Then why am I awake writing this poem
On the day that it is due?

(Not only a poem do I have to write,
But Spanish and English reading that I should have done last night.)

I shake my head, but it is clear –
Procrastination is a weakness, a troubled future do I fear!

I’m really a good student.
I feel I’ve a valid excuse.
Distractions, distractions, distractions…
To avoid them, there is no use.

Wednesday is my busiest day,
But Tuesdays are not that bad.
Then, you ask, why not Tuesday?
Well, a date with sleeping is what I had.

Let me not forget the distraction
That led me to the place;
The place where I played Xbox
To continue my procrastination pace.

The craving was unbearable
& doughnuts hit the spot.
However I was a bit disappointed
When the doughnuts weren’t fresh and hot.

Before my trek to the Krispy Kreme
(Which was later in the night),
I just had to have a manicure/pedicure –
To finish my work first didn’t seem right.

I finally sit down to write this poem.
But first, a topic I must decide.
Then I look over to my aquarium and realize
My beloved Dalmatian fish has died!

This poem is long and boring,
So I think it’s time to conclude.
Just wanted to tell of all the distractions,
And the homework they helped to elude.

Hey, I gave it a shot! hehe

Anyways, I have terrible news! My dalmatian-spotted fish died this morning I don’t know why! I have an automatic feeder, but I’m wondering if it is working properly. Well, all my other fish seem pretty active and happy… maybe I just got an unhealthy fish? I hope that is the case because I don’t want any of the others to die so soon. In other, better news, I may be getting a new puppy! It’s a little Yorkie named Precious I will tell the story behind that the next time I post, but right now I really need to finish my homework.

Not too much going on with my site. I have been brainstorming a new skin and a new layout of Oh My Cuteness. Also, I will be starting a new contest very soon… this next one will be a lot of fun Before you go, please vote for me at Sugary-Sweet’s Top 50 Pixel Sites. I know I said I was gonna have the contest results posted by Monday, but that’s not gonna happen. All I have done this entire weekend is sleep!! Tonight, I wasn’t feeling that great (as usual) My body is still trying to recover from all my lost sleep. I’m sick all the time because I dont get enough rest. That should tell me something I guess hehe.

Not only did I not add up the contest votes, but I also didn’t do a bit of the homework I had planned on doing. What a great way to start off the school year! LOL. My fish keep me entertained They are so cute! I have three of em, and they are schooling fish. They follow each other around the tank all the time. Sometimes, just 2 of them chase each other, and the third just kinda sits there… like he’s in lala land or something… I think it’s cute hehe. To answser my friend Brittney’s question from a previous post, I think fish are very worth it. They aren’t that hard to take care of (when you have an aquarium, that is)… especially if you have an automatic feeder like I do

Well, I’m tired, as usual. I promise I will post the contest results as soon as possible! I still lack some settling in the dorm and classes, so I may not post or be online every single day, but that doesn’t mean that I am gonna close my site or go on hiatus! Well, I have successfully executed my first “Create Table” query in phpMyAdmin - a query written entirely by me I probably just explained something totally crazy because I don’t know the techinical lingo yet hehe. Still 2/3 of the book left to cover, but I was quite proud of myself. It made me mad though because there was a typo in one of the example scripts of the book, which caused a parse error when I tried to run it… you can’t have typos in a book trying to teach PHP! LOL… oh well, I didn’t need that script anyway…

I’m feeling much better now… thanks everyone for their nice comments regarding my cold I think the medicine I took just made me feel worse. When it wore off, I felt 100% better. My mom bought me an awesome cordless phone tonight. It’s a Vtech Vmix. It has interchangeable faceplates and polyphonic ringtones… how cool is that?!

My lazy self still hasn’t chosen a Site of the Moment… I will get around to that sometime soon. A lot of people have asked me if they could join the contest. Nominations ended July 31. Plus, you can’t just ‘join’, your site has to be nominated. In other news, I took the What Kind of Layout Am I? quiz at Blue Faerie Cloud …what d’ya know? I am a Cute Layout Of course.

…and here’s how my rather dull day transpired: woke up, went to church, returned home, took a long, well-deserved nap hehe, woke up, went to my grandparents’ house to eat dinner, surfed the ‘net, watched Live and Let Die (James Bond), came home, watched Sweet Home Alabama with my mom, visited the message board, got mad at William, got un-mad at William, continued to the surf the ‘net… and that’s where I am right now LOL.

I did, however, install some cool b2 hacks — read more javascript, replace friends’ names with links, and smilies in comments. I especially like the smilies in your comments hack I love b2!!

Look what I found… Kitty made them… aren’t they just adorable! I want a real octopus. Did you know… that you can get octopi that grow no larger than the size of a ping-pong ball, and keep them as pets?!? When I get out of the dorms, I’m investing in a salt water aquarium so that I can have my own lil octi hehe
