Books Entertainment
I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I must say, one of the best books I’ve ever read. Extremely fast paced, there wasn’t a moment without action concerning the main characters. As far as I know (as I haven’t read all the books yet), JKR did a wonderful job of tying up all the loose ends. Two chapters brought tears to my eyes!

Books
Anyone read the book Children of Men? I’m reading it right now… it’s a great book. I decided to pick it up when I realized that a film adaption of it was to be made (starring Clive Owen
). I’ve never read a book before seeing its cinematic adaption, so I guess this will be my first disappointment. From what I’ve read about the film, it’s loosely following the storyline. I also think it’s going to lose a lot of its meaning. Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
Edit: Finished reading the book last night. The movie will be nothing like the book. I’m sure I’ll see the film and walk out cursing

Books Personal
I spent last week with my family (and painfully slow DSL). Rather than updating my website, which is usually to what I devote my freetime, I began my summer reading. I’ve only recently realized how much fun reading can be! I guess I always attributed reading to something you were forced to do during the summer for school
The books I’ve finished reading:
The Rosetta Codex
Anthem
Books I’m currently reading:
Dies the Fire
Brave New World (Finished)
Memoirs of a Geisha
State of Fear
Books I want to read before the end of the summer:
Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal
The New Left: The Anti-Industrial Revolution
Atlas Shrugged
Screwtape Letters
Night
Adolf Hitler
The rest of the original Dune series
If you have any book suggestions, let me know. But keep in mind, I’d fall asleep reading a romantic comedy or something along those lines
