Again, I am exhausted! So this is gonna be a very short post. I bought a ton of stuff for my dorm room today: an adorable alarm clock, 10-gallon aquarium :fish:, automatic feeder for the tank, study cushion/pillow, jersey sheets, and a rolling storage box. Right now, (yes I know it’s 2 am) my mom and I are ordering my bedding stuff. I will try to find a picture of it to post here tomorrow… it’s really bright and colorful I’m actually excited about moving in and decorating my bedroom.

Well, I’m too tired to continue writing… and I think I’m coming down with a cold so I’m going to bed now. Voting for the contest started today. A lot of lovely sites were nominated, be sure to check them out. Thanks Peter, Anneli, Rachel, kim, Lily, and ebony for commenting Nighty night.

Internet is being extremely slow tonight! And I still have to comment on my Provance sites… hehe I have a serious problem with procrastination Sorry for not posting yesterday. I finally found out the dimensions/layout of my dorm room so I’ve been hunting down stuff for it (click here to see a floor plan) It’s way bigger than I expected… I have a double room all to myself! This Friday, I leave for Tuscaloosa… I can’t wait to go back to school (Is that not sad??) I miss my buds down there.

I love my William, his sweet lil heart bought me a PHP scripting book that I have been wanting for a long time. I am so excited!!! I am gonna be the next Dodo My first goal is to make a script for the *new* elite listing, Perfection - the project that Peter and I have been working on… Please join!!

How sad… I was looking forward to an afternoon on the lake, but a big thunderstorm came up and ruined my plans At least it was not a bad storm.

We had a great time in Atlanta this weekend. The Braves won the baseball game! That was my first visit to their new stadium, Turner Field. We ended up with pretty good seats… right behind the left field foul pole. I was a bit disappointed when I didn’t snag a foul ball Saturday morning, we went to Six Flags. The park was packed! Every ride, even the smaller ones, had at least an hour wait. We only rode 5 rides before we got tired of the heat/lines and left. We stood in line 2 hours for Superman: Ultimate Flight, but the ride was definitely worth the wait!

Yay for new layouts! Peter (somewhat new), Angelique, Yaj, Dodo (grass theme), and Nadine I’ve been brainstorming for a new skin, but don’t expect anything new anytime soon hehe.

I extended the deadline for the contest since I only had 2 nominations Also, the message board is quite lonely. Well, it’s time for bed Loads of love to xuan, Dee, and Angelique for commenting… I love to hear from everyone!

(On a side note~ I am an English major… and my blog entries never make any sense at all… is that a bad thing? LOL) I’m not gonna type much because my back aches and I’m ready to go to bed… My challenge of the day was installing a new graphical counter, thanks to EP-Dev.Com. I almost gave up on it because I couldn’t get the text display version to work. I also kept getting a strange MySQL error… so I just switched to graphical format and text-file database… I always assume I know what I am doing… but I really have no clue! My HTML skills can be summed up in 2-words: trial and error haha.

This Friday, I’m heading to Atlanta to watch the Braves play and go to Six Flags. William going with my family and me… I am excited! It’s been a long time since I have been to a baseball game, and I love to watch baseball! Even though I go to a football- dominated school, I would much rather see a baseball game than a football game.

YAY! Another cute octopus button… people do love me! Kitty made it for me, isn’t it precious?? Anyways, I really need to get in bed now… I have class in the morning! I was very surprised to find out I made a 95 on my history test… it was really tough and I figured I wouldn’t do well.

Today was a beautiful day! William, his little brother, and I went out on the river this afternoon. I attempted to wakeboard, but I never made it up hehe. I only tried 3 times though, William said that I definitely had potential When we got back, Will’s mom fixed us a delicious meal (which I devoured) plus an ice cream cake for dessert! I am stuffed and exhausted. The sun always takes a lot out of me. I am such a lazy bum… complaining about the sun making me tired, when I should be working! I am gonna have a part-time job as a Resident Advisor in the dorm this coming semester. I get a single room (with my own bathroom) for free, plus I get paid a little extra to watch over all the incoming freshmen.

Talking about college makes me so excited about school! Well not classes, just to get back to Tuscaloosa. I love college, it is so much fun. Not too long until classes start… then I will be complaining about how I am ready for Christmas break hehe :sweat:

Sorry for the lack of posts… I just got home from the beach I hope everyone had a great/safe holiday weekend. Our vacation was a lot of fun, but I wish we could have stayed longer. On the Fourth, our condominium complex hosted a fireworks display over the ocean… it was lovely! The weather wasn’t that good, however. It was cloudy on Friday and Saturday… then, of course, on Sunday (the day we left) it cleared up. At least it didn’t rain or storm.

My History exam was pretty simple. The second half of the course started today. After class, I asked him about my grade. He had not graded my exam yet, but he said I would have an A in the class.

I posted a new contest this afternoon… go nominate some sites! I still have not figured out the annoying javascript error that pops up sometimes… if you figure out what’s causing it, please let me know. It really gets on my nerves hehe. Tropical storm Bill is pounding us with rain. My family, William, and I are leaving for the beach Thursday afternoon… hopefully the storm will be over My history final is Thursday morning. I doubt I will study for it since I made good grades on the last tests (102, 99) hehe.

I installed a B2 comment hack by Dodo… now it is easier to plug my lovely commenters :* Also, Bittersweets.Net is back up. I hope to transfer my old B2 files to this server soon.
