Right now, I’m in the computer lab working on my first Computer Science project of the year: (Can you tell that I’ve been <blockquote> happy lately? :lol:)

Design and implement a Visual C++ .NET program that accepts 7 letters separated by spaces and displays a numeric telephone number. Assume all lower case letters. Letters should generate numbers based on this image of a phone. No ones or zeros will be output since there is no letter assigned to either of these keys. Input will be lower case letters only. Only legal input will be used. It won’t be necessary to check for proper case. After reading one 7 character phone number the program should terminate. You don’t need a loop to process additional phone numbers.

Prompt the user to enter seven letters separated by spaces. Then print the corresponding telephone number. A properly formatted phone number has a dash between the 3rd and 4th numbers.

I’ve finished most of it, but there’s a couple of things that I’m having trouble with. It’s not due until Friday morning, so I have time to discuss them with my professor. Y’all should be proud of me… I’m actually not procrastinating for once! If only I could keep up with my Calculus homework better…

Will’s family heard from their condo — little to no damage! They were very lucky. The owners even expect to begin renting out the rooms again in two weeks. I guess our Spring Break plans are still on.

I’m still obsessed with Scrabble. ‘Z’, ‘X’, and ‘Q’ word suggestions are welcomed. I’ve beaten Andy the last two times we’ve played… even after he bingoed! Wish me luck for the third time.

My Spring Break began Thursday afternoon… so my friends and I have been celebrating the past 2 nights I really needed a break from school, it’s getting quite stressful. I was supposed to go to Destin, Florida for a couple of days, but our condo got booked by mistake. Now, I have no plans for the week, except for my birthday on Monday! I can’t believe that I will be 20 in 2 days… only one more year until I’m 21! That’s a scary thought…

For once in my life I’m actually excited about school. Right now, I’m in the process of switching my major from English to Computer Science. I love computers + working with computers, so I think that this a really good choice for me. The CS advisor even told me that I was a perfect candidate I still plan to attend law school and I may even add History as a minor. I love to write, but I just wasn’t enjoying English. I’ve had straight A’s in all of my classes so far except for my English classes. The only bad thing about a CS major is that I have to take a TON of Math - and I haven’t had a math class since high school!

I received another good review from Un Deux Reviews. I hope to make a new layout for Perfection this week.

I can’t write much because I have to finish writing a Philosophy paper Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was very relaxing… I hate that it’s over! I have so much to do this week: Philosophy test today, Spanish test tomorrow, Psychology test Wednesday, Computer Science test Thursday, and a research paper due next Thursday!! I needed the break this weekend.

I promise I have not forgotten the skins. I’m hoping to make a new browser-friendly skin so my Mac and Netscape visitors can see my page correctly. Also, I hope to post a new contest and challenge. My next big project is a new layout for my webring. Impl0de.org is closing down, so I’m moving Oh My Cuteness to my domain… I felt that warranted a new layout

Looks like I’m not going to get to post/update again until this weekend I am swamped with school work right now!! Good news, however, is that we’re learning JAVASCRIPT in my computer science class right now… it is so much fun! Check out my latest cs assignment. GRRR My b2 just messed up and my post was deleted! Now I have to write it all over again. I hate when this happens! Oh well…

My classes went well. I think I’m going to really enjoy them, especially CS 202, which is webdesign Hopefully, that will be an easy A+. I havent decided whether or not I am going to drop a class. I think I will give it at least a week then make a decision. 18 hours plus my resident assistant duties is a ton of work.

I really don’t have too much to blog about. Nothing exciting has happened. William sent me three pastel pink roses They are very pretty, they match the colors of my room perfectly! I wish I could keep them alive forever. He and his roommates have me obsessed with the xbox game, Halo. They love that game and play it all the time. It is very, very addicting.

I am devoting this entire weekend to updating my site. I feel so bad about neglecting it! The contest and challenge results will both be posted no later than Monday. I already have a good idea for the new contest Time to do some Philosophy reading. Before I forget, I wanted to thank Michael for blogrolling me. Hope everyone has a great Friday!

Class starts tomorrow My first one is at 11 am, not too early. I’m taking Philosophy, Spanish, Creative Writing, English, Psychology and Computer Science… 18 hours, a full load. I’m thinking about dropping Psychology, though. I guess I will decide tomorrow.

I’m so glad to have my super-fast internet connection again My room is finally finished. I will take a picture of it as soon as I get a chance. It’s actually pretty cool, I’m excited. I bought 3 little fish for my new aquarium this afternoon. I will get a picture of them, too.

Sorry for the lack of posts… I just got home from the beach I hope everyone had a great/safe holiday weekend. Our vacation was a lot of fun, but I wish we could have stayed longer. On the Fourth, our condominium complex hosted a fireworks display over the ocean… it was lovely! The weather wasn’t that good, however. It was cloudy on Friday and Saturday… then, of course, on Sunday (the day we left) it cleared up. At least it didn’t rain or storm.

My History exam was pretty simple. The second half of the course started today. After class, I asked him about my grade. He had not graded my exam yet, but he said I would have an A in the class.

I posted a new contest this afternoon… go nominate some sites! I still have not figured out the annoying javascript error that pops up sometimes… if you figure out what’s causing it, please let me know. It really gets on my nerves hehe.
