I hadn’t seen my crab in a week, so I began to think that he had died. Then one day I was making some lunch and I glanced in the tank… there he was just staring at me! When he noticed me, he crawled back inside his cave (an octopus aquarium decoration)… it was so cute!

I have a serious problem… I’m addicted to a video game! My boyfriend and his roommates always play Halo, an Xbox game. I grew tired of just watching, so I learned how to play… and now I’m obsessed! You can play online so I will sit there and play for hours without even realizing it. My girlfriends tell me that I need help LOL Just one more reason to neglect my studies…

Ok, this is ridiculous. I have a 9 am class and I’m on the computer at 4:30 am! And I wonder why I’m always tired?? Oh well, thanks everyone for your always appreciated comments! (xuan, Yajaira, Mar, natasja, Brigitte, Lain, kitty, Pokey, Sue, and Pamela) Have a good week!

Short Hiatus… I’ll be back soon! I’m busy settling into my apartment and school Contest deadline has been extended to January 31, 2004. (Contest has been cancelled.) Talk to you all next weekend, hopefully!

I’m so sorry everyone for the lack of updates!! Please accept my apology and don’t stop commenting/visiting… I still love my site and I dont ever plan to shut it down! However, I won’t be updating as regularly as I used to (duh, guess you already figured that one out :sweat:). Right now, things are tough. 18 hours + a full-time job + extracurricular activities + boyfriend/social life… its a whole lot to balance. Good news, I have an idea for a new skin, and I hope to start working on it soon! A preview can be found on my computer science assignment page hehe (click here). Dedicated to my fishies, which are all doing quite well!!

I am currently Bee of the Week at the Quilting Bee Wow, I am very honored. To tell you the truth, it makes me feel a lot better about my site….

I applied for something a few days ago, and was rejected. I know this sounds very cocky of me, but I’m touchy about these things. I started thinking that maybe my site wasn’t that good Ok, enough of that! Who wants to hear me cry about my problems?? hehe Anyways, I receive a ton of positive feedback from my visitors… that’s a huge confidence boost! On top of that, I realized today that I have had over 100,000 visitors to my site. One-hundred thousand! That’s a bunch of people! (I bet half of those were my visits though lol) Anyways, I wasn’t asking for pity, I just wanted to share my thoughts.

A beer truck was hijacked this morning in Birmingham, Alabama hahaha I heard that on the local news this afternoon and immediately called William… is that not hilarious? I could imagine some of my friends being the perpetrators in that crime… the things people will do for alcohol. I also got this picture in an email a few weeks ago. I thought it was pretty funny, too.

I am really sorry if I haven’t returned your comments or, to my dailies, visited your sites over the past few days… like I said in the previous post, Peter and I have been busy working on a new project. I can’t wait for its debut! About the javascript error — I think Icy hit the nail on the head (lame expression, I know)… except its my Blogsnob ad that occasionally causes it, rather than Provance. Come to think of it, I had figured that out once before … just goes to show you how absent-minded I am.

Well, I never make it to class on time in the mornings because I always oversleep. I oversleep because I am always on the computer until the wee-hours of the morning. WOW! 10 comments… I’m impressed! I guess I will begin this post by thanking those who brightened my day: Beccy, dodo, ronnie, Erin, su, bunny, alzie, xuan, diana, and Karrie.

I am also excited to hear that my site looks pretty good on most browsers. However, Karrie emailed me a screencap of my page on Mozilla… a couple of extra scrollbars and some mixed up link colors, those were the problems we noticed. Hopefully I can correct those errors sometime soon.

My scalp is itching and my fingers have lotion on them :sweat: meaning that I can not scratch the itch. Therefore I am scratching my head with a coat-hanger (is that just a southern term? or is it used nation-wide… hehe) I have a thing about lotion… I can’t stand it!! I guess I don’t like the greasy feeling on my hands. Lotion on my legs doesn’t bother me because dry skin and white knees drive me crazy, also…

I installed some more features in the b2stats file (thanks to a counter script by Dodo). I tried to install this really cool refresh script, but I couldn’t get it to work the way I wanted it to work.

Anyways… the weather has been beautiful! I gotta get up early and head to the river before the rain returns. I’m still looking for contest nominations. I think I currenly have six. Bedtime… hope everyone has a great weekend! Stay out of trouble.

Another rainy day The dreary weather makes me very grouchy, so I was pretty much mad at the world today. It is supposed to be sunny tomorrow… maybe I can go on the lake after class.

Ok, I need some feedback! Please let me know: 1) What browser you are using. 2) Screen resolution. 3) How my site looks in your browser/resolution. I’m just curious If my site looks like crap, let me know so that I can attempt to fix the problem.

That nasty javascript error is still occasionally popping up… I have no clue what’s causing it. If you run into the error and figure out the cause, please let me know… I’ll even plug ya I installed b2stats and b2customfields this afternoon. I am still deciding where to place the current mood field in my blog entries. I also fixed the cursor problem (LOL Dodo)

How sad… I was looking forward to an afternoon on the lake, but a big thunderstorm came up and ruined my plans At least it was not a bad storm.

We had a great time in Atlanta this weekend. The Braves won the baseball game! That was my first visit to their new stadium, Turner Field. We ended up with pretty good seats… right behind the left field foul pole. I was a bit disappointed when I didn’t snag a foul ball Saturday morning, we went to Six Flags. The park was packed! Every ride, even the smaller ones, had at least an hour wait. We only rode 5 rides before we got tired of the heat/lines and left. We stood in line 2 hours for Superman: Ultimate Flight, but the ride was definitely worth the wait!

Yay for new layouts! Peter (somewhat new), Angelique, Yaj, Dodo (grass theme), and Nadine I’ve been brainstorming for a new skin, but don’t expect anything new anytime soon hehe.

I extended the deadline for the contest since I only had 2 nominations Also, the message board is quite lonely. Well, it’s time for bed Loads of love to xuan, Dee, and Angelique for commenting… I love to hear from everyone!

(On a side note~ I am an English major… and my blog entries never make any sense at all… is that a bad thing? LOL) I’m not gonna type much because my back aches and I’m ready to go to bed… My challenge of the day was installing a new graphical counter, thanks to EP-Dev.Com. I almost gave up on it because I couldn’t get the text display version to work. I also kept getting a strange MySQL error… so I just switched to graphical format and text-file database… I always assume I know what I am doing… but I really have no clue! My HTML skills can be summed up in 2-words: trial and error haha.

This Friday, I’m heading to Atlanta to watch the Braves play and go to Six Flags. William going with my family and me… I am excited! It’s been a long time since I have been to a baseball game, and I love to watch baseball! Even though I go to a football- dominated school, I would much rather see a baseball game than a football game.

YAY! Another cute octopus button… people do love me! Kitty made it for me, isn’t it precious?? Anyways, I really need to get in bed now… I have class in the morning! I was very surprised to find out I made a 95 on my history test… it was really tough and I figured I wouldn’t do well.

Today was a beautiful day! William, his little brother, and I went out on the river this afternoon. I attempted to wakeboard, but I never made it up hehe. I only tried 3 times though, William said that I definitely had potential When we got back, Will’s mom fixed us a delicious meal (which I devoured) plus an ice cream cake for dessert! I am stuffed and exhausted. The sun always takes a lot out of me. I am such a lazy bum… complaining about the sun making me tired, when I should be working! I am gonna have a part-time job as a Resident Advisor in the dorm this coming semester. I get a single room (with my own bathroom) for free, plus I get paid a little extra to watch over all the incoming freshmen.

Talking about college makes me so excited about school! Well not classes, just to get back to Tuscaloosa. I love college, it is so much fun. Not too long until classes start… then I will be complaining about how I am ready for Christmas break hehe :sweat:

Where have I been? Well I have been working non-stop on my *brand-spanking new* message board YAY! This is a totally new experience for me since I rarely post/visit forums.

Again, I dont have much to blog about… just the same ol’ boring day Veronica pointed out a mistake in History section — I purchased this domain in June, rather than July. Also, Kitty made me an adorable button!
