Meet CoCo

Sorry everyone for the recent downtime! I didn’t realize that my domain name had expired :frown: I’ve been so bored the past few days without my site.

Saturday was wonderful! William and I celebrated our two-year anniversary :beat: We drove to Birmingham, AL to eat at a Japanese restaurant called Stix, which was excellent. We both ordered steak & chicken. I love Japanese food! Next time, we’re ordering sushi as well. I told William since we eat Japanese food so often, we have to learn to use the chopsticks… that’s my new goal.

I would like everyone to meet my new pet guinea pig, CoCo :spin: She was my other anniversary surprise from William. I wanted a kitten, but I can’t afford one right now. The pet deposit at my apartment is $300 plus $10 added to the rent each month O_o I decided to get a cavy (guinea pig) instead of a hamster or a ferret because the people at the pet shop told me that cavies smell much better. CoCo is very loving; however, she is quite skittish. We’re still trying to adjust to one another.

    Happy belated 2-year anniversary! :D I use chopsticks but for fun when I look on the cover of the shopticks, they show how to use them and when I follow those instrucitons, it doesn’t work for me. lol

    Hey ^_^ long time no comment! Coco is so cute, I had a guinea pig names Bork, they just seem to take a long time to get comfortable with people. Plus they seem to be able to sense fear, I ended up just having to grab mine and once it got over it we were pals. :spin:

    Guinea Pgis are totally nice and calm animals.. i wish i had one lol.. ur’s so cute.. =) I use chupstick all the time.. they’re easy once you learn howta control the finger movements while using them. anywayz rock on…

    Aw, congratulations on your anniversary. :D I’m glad you guys had fun! I’ve always been surrounded by cats my whole life, about an average of 5 at once, and it would be so sad to live without them. :( I’m going to have to next year at college and I know especially my cat will miss me a lot… *sigh* I need to get an apartment lol.

    Downtimes suck..lol. That’s why you pay attention as to when the domain expires! Heh. Aww..the guinea pig looks so cute! I used to own a few. That’s true, they don’t smell like hamsters and those little animals do. Guinea pigs are very clean..sometimes. Guinea pigs are usually either very hyper or quiet..it depends. Kind of hard to change that, too. Geez, okay, a long comment about guinea pigs -_-;; So..uhh..Your layout rocks! Looks terrific and professional!!     What a funky guinea pig =D Chopsticks are easy once you get into the swing of using them - when I visit Manchester (where my sister’s at Uni) we go to a Japanese noodle bar called Fuzion which is really nice, so I’m quite handy with the sticks now :roll:

    Coco is really cute - but I’m afraid to say that guinea pigs aren’t the sort of animal who want to live alone. They are very social and live in large groups in the free nature. One guinea pig alone is very unhappy because it has noone to talk to, to play with, to cuddle with :cry:. So what about buying a female friend for her? I know she will be very happy about it and you too, when you see how much better she will feel :roll:.

    Sorry about my bad english - but I’m from Germany ;).

    Coco is very cute! Guinea Pigs are kind skittish most of the time, but they warm up to you eventually. They make good pets - but they are fat little so-and-so’s! Heh. Karl has two.. :beat:

    Oh, CoCo is lovely! :-) I think guinea pigs make lovely pets, they can be skittish, and they like company, but they’re so sweet and cuddly! I’m sure you’ll get to know each other in no time. ;)

    Belated Happy 2-Year anniversary dealio!! Coco looks so cute! It’s all good about the domain. I did that with mine, too. I totally forgot that it was going to expire, and I didn’t check my mail.     Your new Cavy is adorable!!! Mario’s been obsessed with the idea of getting one for ourselves :). About hammy’s smelling bad–they really don’t. I was afraid ours would smell up the living room but as long as their litter is changed once a week or week and a half, they don’t smell bad at all! Mario’s rats on the other hand…oy… O_o!

    Eeep! I used to have a guinea pig that looked just like that, except he had white on him and his name was Mac.

    I gave him back to the pet store though because I was too lazy to clean his cage and play with him and wanted him to have a better life.
